ICUMSA® 45: PREMIUM QUALITY, MAXIMUM SAFETY

ICUMSA® 45 sugar is regarded as the highest quality refined white sugar on the market, designed for safe human consumption and suited for a broad spectrum of applications across the food and beverage industries. This sugar undergoes a rigorous refining process that sets it apart by removing virtually all impurities, including bacteria and contaminants commonly present in raw sugar. The production of ICUMSA® 45 follows strict quality control standards, ensuring its consistent purity and meeting international requirements for food safety and quality. Known for its fine granulation and brilliant whiteness, it is particularly popular in industries where high-grade sugar is essential, such as in confectionery, pharmaceuticals, beverages, and high-end baked goods.ICUMSA® 45’s demand remains strong due to its trusted safety profile and exceptional purity, which reaches a level of nearly 99.9% sucrose content. With its extended shelf life and minimal exposure to additives, it can be stored safely and retains its quality over time, making it the preferred choice for industries and consumers looking for the best in refined sugar.

ICUMSA® 150: PURE & AFFORDABLE CRYSTAL SUGAR

ICUMSA® 150, commonly known as Crystal Sugar, is widely used in large-scale baking and food and beverage production. Produced through a controlled crystallization process without chemical refining, Crystal Sugar offers a cost-effective alternative to ICUMSA® 45 with fewer chemicals in its composition. This sugar, sometimes referred to as glass or special crystal sugar, is obtained by carefully crystallizing treated cane juice. It undergoes a clarification process using sulphitation and chalk to achieve a fine, regular crystal structure with high brightness and 99.5% purity. Thanks to these qualities, ICUMSA® 150 is a popular choice for carbonated drinks, liqueurs, juices, ice creams, and sweets.ICUMSA® 150 has a lighter color, close to white, and is characterized by a low soluble solid content. It boasts a long shelf life, remaining stable for up to two years.

ICUMSA® 600/1200: RAW BROWN SUGAR

ICUMSA® 600/1200, commonly referred to as brown sugar, is a 100% raw, unrefined sugar derived from the first crystallization of sugar cane. Unlike highly refined white sugars such as ICUMSA® 45, ICUMSA® 600/1200 retains its natural brown color and thicker granulation, giving it a unique character and texture that is valued in certain applications. This type of sugar contains natural molasses, which contributes to its distinctive flavor profile and slight moisture content, making it ideal for specialized baking, brewing, and other food industries where a rich, caramel-like taste is desired. The raw brown sugar produced from cane is partially refined, containing approximately 70% white sugar when fully processed, and thus retains some of the natural minerals and components of the sugar cane.ICUMSA® 600/1200 is particularly suited for applications that benefit from its robust flavor and color, such as in the production of dark syrups, certain alcoholic beverages, sauces, and baked goods. Its raw form and minimal processing make it an attractive option for those seeking less refined sweeteners with a more natural composition.
